ESTATE GROWN CAVE SPRING VINEYARD CABERNET FRANC 2023 VQA Beamsville Bench, Niagara Escarpment
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CAVE SPRING
This fresh 2023 has a bright fairly deep purple-red colour. The nose is slightly spicy and fairly intense with bright, plum-crancherry fruit along with some gentle minerally, faintly cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, bright, still quite youthful, ripe plum flavours with a lingering, crisp, very faintly minerally finish. A well-made, ready-to-drink Cab Franc with good acidity with some barrel aging. It has 13.5% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L290-12025-0824 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 523001
