LES CASSAGNES CÔTES DU RHÔNE-VILLAGES 2021 AP
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer LA NERTHE
Deep intense purple-red colour. Very attractive, slightly spicy, gently juicy, ripe, plum-black-cherry nose with some seemingly slightly cedary, red licorice notes. Dry,medium-plus bodied, nicely textured, slightly spicy, gently juicy, ripe, bright, plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, harmonious finish. Delicious and quite ready-to-drink, this blend of 50% Grenache, Noir, 40% Syrah), 8% Mourvèdre and 2% other grapes has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L22297CN on the lower part of the glass bottle. Unoaked - it was aged on fine lees in concrete tanks for 9-12 months before bottling which accounts for its complexity. This excellent new 202 is the 6th appearance in Vintages and offers great drinkability. CSPC 494674
