LE CLASSIQUE CHABLIS 2023 AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer PASCAL BOUCHARD
This lovely ready-to-drink 2023 Chablis has a bright pale straw colour. Very attractive, gently complex, hazelnut-tinged, ripe, lemon-apple meringue nose. Dry, medium bodied, bright, lively, lemon-apple-melon meringue flavours with a lingering, gently nutty, harmonious, minerally finish. Aged on fine lees for 9 months, this crowd-pleasing Chablis hits the spot with 12.5% alcohol, 2/L residual sugar and lot number L4.C2.23.96. It is obviously much better today than when reviewed last November. The 2019 appeared in Vintages on June 26, 2021 at $24.95. CSPC 18585
