PERNAND-VERGELESSES 2023 AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ANDRÉ GOICHOT & FILS
This youthful attractive 2023 has a fresh, bright, gently plummy, raspberry-tinged nose. Dry, medium-bodied and harmonious, the elegant, lively, ripe Damson plum flavours have nuances of fraises des bois (wild strawberries) along with a touch of oak and refined structure and acidity. A pleasure to drink now, it should evolve well over the next 5 years or so. Perfect with roast chicken, it has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. NEW in Vintages, this small region located in the northwest corner of the Côte de Beaune only produces about 18,000 cases of red annually. CSPC 559732
