| This remarkably well-priced 100% Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep intense purple colour and an extremely attractive, ripe, gently juicy, plummy nose with some slightly spicy, faintly savoury, toasty, cedar-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied, harmonious, very nicely structured, bright, intense, ripe, plum-black-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, well textured finish. This delicious, ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser was aged of 15 months in 225L French oak (10% new), it has 14% alcohol, 1.7 g/L residual sugar and 5.6 g/L total acidity. All bottled in August 2023 it is one of my top values of the release. |
