NAOUSSA XINOMAVRO 2021 PDO Naoussa, Macedonia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer BOUTARI
This outstanding 100% Xinomavro from Naoussa has a medium-deep faintly amber tinged garnet red colour and a gently floral, rose petal nose with some slightly earthy, ripe, Damson plum fruit. Very dry, medium bodied, gently complex, ripe crancherry-plum flavours with a lingering, bright, minerally, nicely structured, refreshing finish. Showing well now, it is perfect with springtime lamb. Aged in oak for 12 months, it has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L43130748 on the capsule. CSPC 23218
