TINTO 2021 DOC Douro
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer LA ROSA
Deep violet-purple colour. Gently cedary, slightly spicy, ripe, plum-cherry nose. Dry, medium-plus bodied, quite well structured, bright, ripe, plum-crancherry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, minerally finish. This Douro producer uses the traditional method of trodding the grapes by foot in granite lagares and then ferments juice in small stainless steel vats. It is aged in French oak casks and bottled in September 2014. Great with a steak and quite ready-to-drink, it has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L-184-24 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 933101
