HULLABALOO CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2018 Margaret River, Western Australia |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
EVANS & TATE |
NEW in Vintages. Deep intense purple colour. Bright, spicy, gently earthy, warm, ripe, Damson plum nose with some cassis notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, intense, well structured, very slightly spicy, bright, plummy-crancherry flavours with a lingering, faintly herbal, gently cedary finish. Great with a steak, this tasty, fairly robust, crowd-pleasing 100% Cabernet Sauvignon has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L29267 on the back label. |

TASTING NOTE: The history of Evans & Tate dates back to 1971, when John Evans and John Tate first planted vines in Western Australia's Swan Valley. Three years later, they purchased land and planted a vineyard in Wilyabrup, in the heart of Margaret River. This bold, burly Cabernet Sauvignon delivers ripe dark berry and blackcurrant fruit supported by structured tannins. |
