MCPHERSON WINES |
Note that the HST-free-price of this release should be about $17.60. Bright deep intense purple colour. Spicy, juicy, very ripe, plummy-black-cherry nose with some vanilla stick and cedar notes. Quite dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, spicy, juicy, intense, ripe black cherry puree flavours with a lingering, bright, harmonious, rather cedary finish. This tasty crowd-pleaser was aged for 12 months in 500L French oak puncheons (80% new and 20% 1-year-old) and went through malolactic fermentation. It has 14.8% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L1 24094 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. |
