UNSHACKLED RED BLEND 2022 California
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer THE PRISONER WINE COMPANY
This very deep intense purple coloured California blend of Zinfandel, Malbec, Petite Sirah, Syrah and Grenache has a fruity, intense, spicy, rather cedary nose with lots of ripe, plummy, black cherries. Quite dry, medium to medium-full bodied, harmonious and ready-to-drink with an abundance of rich, ripe fruit balanced by a wave of cedary flavours that show good length and decent acidity. This crowd-pleaser has 14.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar was barrel-aged in French and American oak casks for 11 months before bottling. CSPC 22597
