PATRES BAROLO 2019 DOCG, Piedmont, Italy
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer SAN SILVESTRO
Medium garnet red colour with some ambering on the edges. Ripe, respectfully, plummy nose with sour cherry, rose petal, cranberry, cinnamon, brambles, earth and hints of anice and sandalwood. Dry, medium-plus bodied and quite harmonious with some some youthful, bright, ripe, plum-rose-hip flavours followed up by a lingering finish. Quite nicely priced, it should age gracefully. It has 14.5 % alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 377986
