| Now at only $20 this NEW in Vintages blend of 85% Monastrell and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep intense purple colour. The nose is fairly intense with slightly spicy, bright, ripe, plum-cassis-black-cherry fruit with some fairly complex, gently cedary notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied, slightly spicy, very bright, intense, ripe, plum-cassis-black-cherry flavours with a lingering, bright, gently cedary, well-balanced, nicely structured, raspberry-seed-tinged finish. This crowd-pleaser spent 12 months in new French and American oak where it went through full malolactic. Quite ready-to-drink, it has 14.5% alcohol and under 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L-3824254A on the back label. |

| TASTING NOTE: 85% Monastrell, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Ripe aromas of black cherry and blackcurrant with some dusty cinnamon spice. There is great verve and drive in the mouth with notes of blackcurrant leaves, blackcurrants and dark cherries, soft and round tannins and lively acidity. Beautifully turned out, big, structured and carries its alcohol well. Score - 96 (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2022) |
