NEW in Vintages - listed at $52.95 and now only $46.55 a bottle. Bright medium straw colour with streams of tiny bubbles. Intense, somewhat spicy, fairly complex, apple-lemon fruit with some leesy-mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, spicy, vibrant, minerally, ripe, lemon-yellow-apple flavours with a lingering, fairly effervescent, crisp finish. TASTING NOTE: The Leblond-Lenoir Brut Tradition Champagne is fresh and lively, as it opens to aromas of lemon meringue pie, tangerine and freshly baked croissant which all take shape beautifully. On the palate this is bright and vivid with flavors of lemon tart, yellow apple, toasted brioche flavors lingering. Drink: 2024-2028. Score - 92 (Joe D'Angelo, internationalwinereport.com, April 2023) |
