WOVEN STONE SINGLE VINEYARD PINOT GRIS 2022 Horowhenua, North Island
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer OHAU
NEW in Vintages. Medium straw colour. Intense, very ripe, spicy, honeyed, floral nose that leans in an Alsatian style. Fairly dry, medium bodied, very spicy, almost Muscaty (very late harvest in style) with good intensity and mouthfeel and a lingering finish. It has some faint botrytis notes with 12.5% alcohol and perhaps 6 g/L residual sugar with lot number 231122 on the lower part of the glass bottle. I think that it would work well-chilled with spicy cuisine and perhaps even a lobster bisque. CSPC 36900

TASTING NOTE: It's elegantly fragrant on the nose with apricot, Gala apple, green pear and floral aromas, followed by a gently weighted palate that's beautifully rounded and juicy, finishing fruity and smooth for charming drinking.
