| A REPEAT of the 2020 that was released on July 22, 2023 at $19.95. Here is a just-posted update shared by David Lawrason. This basic Bordeaux is made under the auspices of the winemaker from 2nd Growth property Chateau Pichon Baron. So there is a certain balance and finesse here, but not a lot of complexity and depth. Expect red and black currant, fresh herbs, tobacco smoke. It is mid-weight, with good acidity, and considerable green tannin. Good to very good length. Best 2026 to 2030. |
