| This very classy 100% Nebbiolo has a somewhat lightish medium ruby colour. The seriously elegant nose shows ripe, Damson plums, cherries and black currants with some bright, gently complex,sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, nicely structured, faintly spicy, ripe, bright, fresh, Damson plum and rounded crancherry fruit flavours with a lingering, fairly crisp, refreshing, harmonious finish. It has great finesse and is quite ready-to-drink. This single vineyard effort has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L22823 on the back label. This sixth Vintages release is the best to date. |

| TASTING NOTE: Nebbiolo is the noble red wine grape of Piedmont, renowned for the wines of Barolo and Barbaresco. This wine offers classic varietal characteristics of cherry, raspberry, cedar and spice, with suggestions of fresh flowers and that ephemeral Nebbiolo combination of graceful elegance and muscular tannins. Decant the wine to soften the tannins a touch and then pair with roasted meats. |
