| Extremely deep intense dark purple colour and an attractive, slightly spicy, fairly juicy, ripe, plum-black-cherry purée nose with some blueberry-tinged, sandalwood-cedar notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, intense, slightly spicy, youthful, ripe, plum-crancherry flavours with a lingering, gently savoury, cedary, bright finish. Has excellent mouth feel and you can start enjoying it now - excellent value. This reliable 100% Malbec has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L21424 on the back label. 60% of the wine was aged in French oak for 12 months - the balance in stainless steel to preserve the fresh fruit flavours. |
