| Bright pale straw colour. Attractive, fairly intense, bright, ripe lemon meringue nose with some elegant toasty notes. Dry, medium-plus bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, bright, ripe, lemon-apple meringue flavours with a lingering, harmonious, gently cedary finish. This very tasty, ready-to-drink, organic 2020 was fermented with wild yeast in 300L neutral French oak barrels which included malolactic and was followed by aging for 10 months. It has has 11.8% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 2021-03-30 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. This 19th Vintages release since April 3, 2010 is the best to date. |
