BEAUJOLAIS BLANC 2023 AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CHÂTEAU DES JACQUES
NEW in Vintages. This attractive 100% unoaked Chardonnay has a bright pale staw colour and a floral, faintly spicy, ripe, wintermelon-tinged, lemon-apple nose with some faintly toasty notes from spending 8 months on its lees. Dry, quite well structured, slightly spicy, fairly intense, ripe lemon-apple meringue flavours with a lingering, fairly rich, bright, gently complex finish. Stylistically speaking, this serious Beaujolais Blanc is similar to a premium Saint Véran or Pouilly-Fuissé. Perfect with seafood and poultry, it has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 40868

Fermented and aged on the lees for eight months, this ripe, elegant wine has white floral tones and tropical fruit. Perfect for shellfish. Drink through 2028+. Price $ 32.95
