| I have been waiting for 5 years for this bargain-priced, Sauvignon Blanc to reappear in Vintages - much too long. Bright pale straw colour, the mineral-tinged, gently grassy, fresh, ripe lemon-apple meringue nose with a hint of leesiness. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, bright, fresh lemon-melon-apple flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. This versatile, ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser works well with seafood, poultry and spicy dishes. Fermented in stainless steel and aged on lees for three months, it has 13.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number 162 22 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. |
