WILD FERMENT ASSYRTIKO 2023 PGI Peloponnese |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
SKOURAS |
This 2023 youthful 100% Assyrtiko has a very pale straw colour and a very fresh, very faintly grassy, mineral-tinged, ripe, lemony, yellow grapefruit nose with some leesy notes. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied and nicely structured (aged sur lie for 4 months) with bright, fresh, faintly floral, citrusy, lemon meringue-ish flavours followed up by a lingering, refreshing, mineral-tinged finish. Versatile and quite ready to drink, it has 13% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L240315 on the back label. Screwcap closure. |
