Deep golden ambering yellow colour. Very sweet, intense, rich, spicy,Seville orange marmalade nose with some caramel-dried-apricot notes. Very sweet, medium-full bodied, intense, mouthfilling, rich, slightly spicy, caramel-driven, bright, Seville orange marmalade flavours with a lingering, bright, candied, vanilla stick finish, Made in the appassimento method, the grapes are dried, pressed, fermented and barrel aged. Made from Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes that are left to dry naturally, it has 14% alcohol and 223 g/L residual sugar with lot number L3348 on the lower part of the glass bottle. CSPC 16987

TASTING NOTE: Vin Santo (holy wine) dates to the Middle Ages, when it was believed to possess therapeutic value. This one is made from select Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes that are dried before fermentation to concentrate sugars and flavours. It will suggest dried fruit, hazelnuts and honey and will be excellent with foie gras or fine dark chocolate. Enjoy through 2031+. Price $ 56.95
