PINOT GRIGIO 2023 New Zealand
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer KIM CRAWFORD
This 2023 vintage has a new name - it used to be Pinot Gris and is now Pinot Grigio. Bright pale straw colour, the nose is gently spicy, floral and faintly honeyed with fresh, peach-apple-lemon aromas. It is fairly dry, medium bodied and quite spicy with fresh, ripe, melon-apple-pear-lemon flavours followed up a fairly crisp, mineral-tinged finish. A versatile, ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser that has 12.5% alcohol and 5.2 g/L residual sugar with lot number 23267 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. A REPEAT of the recommended 2023 that was released on March 16 2024 at $21.95. CSPC 369850
