| A REPEAT of the August 19, 2023 Vintages release best buy from Portugal’s Dao region. Deep purple colour, the nose is intense and slightly spicy with fresh ripe plummy-black-cherry notes along with a touch of oak. Dry, medium bodied and quite well structured with slightly spicy, bright, ripe, plummy-cherry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, very faintly smoky, bright finish. This ready-to-drink, this blend of 40% Alfrocheiro, 40% Tinta Roriz (aka Tempranillo) and 20% Touriga Nacional was aged in equal parts French oak and stainless steel for six months. It has 13% alcohol and under 7 g/L residual sugar. |
