| Deep purple garnet, red color. Fairly complex, very slightly spicy, gently earthy, intense, warm, ripe plum nose with some cedary sandalwood-cassis notes. Dry, medium-full body, well structured, bright, still youthful, intense, ripe plum, black cherry and cassis flavors with a lingering, bright, gently cedary finish. It has 15% alcohol with under 2 g residual sugar and lot number L1019 on the back label. This classic Ribera del Duero would work well with a steak and can still improve with a few more years of aging. |
