| NEW in Vintages. This delicious Cosme Palacio 2018 Rioja is really showing beautifully. It has a medium red color and a lovely, gently spicy, plummy, ripe, plum-strawberry-crancherry nose with fine buttery toast notes in the background. Dry, medium bodied, well, balanced, fairly complex ripe Damson pum puree and cassis flavors mingled with some minerally, sandalwood-cedar notes folllwed up by a lingering, well balanced finish. Ready to drink, this versatile 100% Tempranillo crowd-pleaser has 14% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L021341 on the lower part of the glass bottle. |

| TASTING NOTE: Really sophisticated aromas of blackberries, plums, crushed stones, concrete, wet earth and fresh mushrooms. Complex is the word. It's full-bodied with creamy, polished tannins that are caressing and precise and envelop the palate. Tight at the finish, suggesting a wine for the cellar.
