CHÂTEAU SAINT-ROCH |
Jean-Marc Lafage privately owned vinyards date back 6 generations and this tasty 2022 has a bright very deep intense purple-ruby colour and an attractive, gently spicy, fairly complex, ripe, raspberry-plum-cherry purée nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, spicy, intense, ripe, plummy-black-cherry-raspberry flavours with a mineral-tinged, lingering, mouthfilling finish. This blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 30% Cinsault is half aged in large oak demi-muids, the other half in concrete tanks and has 15% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L22286A on the back label. |
