| NEW in Vintages. This pleasant, entry-level, 100% Grüner has a bright medium straw colour. The initial nose is just a tad closed with slightly spicy, faintly grassy, bright, light, apple-yellow grapefruit notes. Dry medium to medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, fresh, mild, apple-yellow -rapefruit flavours with some initial very faintly bitter notes on the finish. Having said that, it seems to improve in the glass and ends up being something that is worth trying with oysters and fish especially at the price. It has 12% alcohol, 3.4 g/L residual sugar and 5.4 g/L total acidity - not quite up to the riper 2021 edition. |

| TASTING NOTE: Tenth-generation winemaker Markus Huber has a vision for a greener future. After inheriting his family's estate in 2000, he converted the four-hectare parcel in the Traisental Valley into a larger, fully organic vineyard. This Grüner was sourced from some of Huber's finest loess soils and shows ripe starfruit and green apple flavours, with hints of white pepper and fern at the core. |
