| NEW in Vintages. This 100% Nebbiolo has a bright somewhat lightish medium red colour with a fairly elegant, intense, gently complex, dried plum nose with some faintly earthy, minerally, violet-rose floral, licorice notes. Very dry, medium bodied, fairly assertive and still somewhat closed with Damson plum fruit and a lingering, sandalwood-tinged, minerally finish. It has 14% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L2340 on the back label. It opens up nicely in the glass and was remarkably delicious when paired with cold slices of spicy, smoky Chorizo sausage. |
