SYRAH/VIEILLES VIGNES GRENACHE 2021 AP Côtes du Roussillon
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer BASTIDE MIRAFLORS
This genuine crowd-pleaser has a deep intense purple colour and is loaded with attractive, ripe, cassis-plum-cherry fruit on the nose along with a hint of buttered toast. Dry, medium bodied and bright, the ripe, plum-cherry-cassis flavours are followed up by a lingering, gently cedary, dark-chocolate-tinged, harmonious finish. This tasty, ready-to-drink blend of 70% Syrah (in concrete tanks) and 30% Grenache (in 600 litre oak demi-muid barrels) has 14.5% alcohol and under 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L24008B on the lower part of the glass bottle.
