SKULLS SHIRAZ 2019 McLaren Vale, South Australia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer FULLGLASS WINES
This delicious, ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser is a mystery to me. It comes with a trick skull label with a boat suspended in a tree. The producer Fullglass Wines is actually an Australian-based marketing company has done a good job. It has a very deep intense purple colour along with an attractive, intense, gently juicy, ripe, raspberry-cassis-cherry nose. Dry medium bodied and quite well structured, the slightly spicy, fairly intense, ripe, plum-raspberry-cassis fruit flavours are followed up be a lingering, gently cedary, bright, harmonious finish. It’s surprisingly tasty and quite ready-to-drink with 14.9% alcohol, 3 g/L residual sugar and lot number L0073 on the lower part of the glass bottle. NEW in Vintages. CSPC 428565
