CHIMÈRES GRENACHE/SYRAH/CARIGNAN 2019 AP Côtes du Roussillon-Villages
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer SAINT-ROCH
A consistent crowd-pleaser, this new 2019 has a bright deep intense purple-ruby colour and an intense, rather spicy, gently complex, juicy, raspberry-plum-cherry nose with some cedary, mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, spicy, intense, ripe, plummy-black-cherry-raspbery purée flavours with a mineral-tinged, lingering, mouthfilling finish. This blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 30% Cinsault is half aged in demi-muids, the other half in concrete tanks and has 15% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L21348A on the lower part of the glass bottle.
