| Wow what a deal! This exceedingly tasty magnum of 100% Riesling was made in the Charmat method and bottled on August 15, 2021. It has a bright light straw colour with lots of extremely tiny bubbles and an attractive, gently spicy, faintly honeyed nose focused on fresh ripe apples. It is gently off-dry and medium bodied but very refreshing with crisp, slightly spicy, ripe apple-melon-lemon fruit flavours and a lingering, bright, well balanced finish. This versatile holiday crowd-pleaser is a joy to drink at any time and an incredible bargain to boot. Make sure that you have a sparkling stopper on hand to seal the bottle immediately after pouring to maintain effervescence. |
