LE RÉGAL ROUGE 2021 AC Minervois |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
LE LOUP BLANC |
NEW in Vintages. This organic blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Carignan and 10% Syrah was aged for 10 months in concrete vats. Barely a year old it has a youthful fairly deep intense purple colour. The nose is spicy, bright and minerally with youthful plummy fruit. Dry medium bodied, very bright, faintly peppery, plum-crancherry flavours with a very crisp, lingering finish without much complexity. It might well be a match for roast turkey. It has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L22140 on the lower part of the glass bottle. |

TASTING NOTE: A blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah sourced from more than 10 specially chosen plots comprising red clay, limestone and pebbles. The wine is immediately drinkable, with good breadth and complexity to the blue and black fruit, spice and savoury herbs. Aged in concrete, it pushes the fruit freshness to the fore. |
