| This Repeat of the excellent 2017 has a youthful fairly deep intense purple colour. The nose shows lots of classy, ripe Damson plum fruit with hints of roses, warm autumnal chestnuts and just-picked raspberries. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, harmonious, extracty but balanced, ripe, raspberry-plum fruit flavours with a lingering, faintly spicy, leathery-sandalwood notes on the lingering, mouthfiling, well balanced, kir-tinged finish. It would be divine with a truffled mushroom risotto. This blend of 40% Corvina, 40% Corvinone and 20% Rondinella has 16% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number L318.20.0617 on the back label. Not to be missed. |

An elegant Amarone, vibrant on the palate with liquid dark cherry, raspberry, dark berry, tobacco leaf, anise spice and savoury herb flavours. Tannins are ripe and juicy.
