Bright pale straw colour. Attractive, slightly spicy, fairly intense, floral, ripe citrus nose with some gently complex, mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied, nicely structured, spicy, bright, ripe, tangerine citrus flavours with a lingering, crisp, mineral-tinged finish. Ready-to-drink and great with spicy dishes, this batch had 3 months aging on the lees with 12.5% alcohol, 2 g/L residual sugar and 5.8 g/L total acidity along with number LR21CHE75 on the back label. Bottled July 2019. Screwcap closure. Better than the recommended 2019 (**/**+) that was released on March 19, 2022 at $14.95. |

TASTING NOTE: A vibrant white, showing hints of honeysuckle, verbena and green almond, which play off the bright and expressive passion fruit and blood orange flavors. Lightly fleshy on the palate and mouthwatering throughout, with a salty finish. Drink now through 2025. Score - 90 (Alison Napjus, winespectator.com, Aug. 31, 2022) |
