CALCINAIA CHIANTI CLASSICO 2019 DOCG
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer SAN FABIANO
Deep intense purple colour. Fairly intense, gently complex, slightly spicy, rather cedary, bright, ripe plum nose with some hints of sandalwood, red licoroce and roses. Very dry, medium bodied, well structured, somewhat savoury, tangy, youthful, intense, plum flavours with a lingering, still faintly peppery, sandalwood-tinged, complex, mouthfilling finish. This blend of Sangiovese with Canaiolo and Colorino has a hefty 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L.410 on the back label. Needs a bit more time to open up.
