PINOT NOIR 2019 Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer THE PRISONER
This NEW in Vintages premium Sonoma Coast blend of 93% Pinot Noir and 7% Syrah has a rather deep red colour with an intense, gently complex, ripe, Damson plum nose with black cherry and cassis notes plus a faint touch of oak. Dry, medium-full bodied, harmonious, very gently spicy, rich, ripe, plummy, red and black cherry purée fruit flavours with a lingering, fairly intense, mouthfilling, well balanced, bright finish. Aged in French oak barrels for 16 months - 40% new, it has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number 202101416 on the lower part of the glass bottle. This attractive, wide-appeal, food-friendly, New World take on Pinot Noir will certainly have it’s fans regardless of the price. CSPC 27031
