This very tasty, ready-to-drink, upscale blend from Jumilla’s Ego Bodegas has a deep intense purple colour. The nose is fairly intense with slightly spicy, bright, ripe, plummy-crancherry fruit with some gently cedary, mineral notes. Dry, medium bodied and well structured with slightly spicy, crisp, intense, ripe, plum-crancherry flavours with a lingering, gently cedary, fresh, bright finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L-C22167A on the back label. This crowd-pleasing blend of 80% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon spent 12 months in new French and American oak before being bottled. |

TASTING NOTE: This dark ruby wine has a bouquet of black currant, espresso bean and aniseed. It is soft on impact, then plush tannins set into the palate with flavors of blueberry, dark plum, mocha and oregano that dissolve into a Valencia orange finish.
