| A REPEAT of the 2018 vintage which is one of the best releases yet. It has a very deep intense purple colour. Attractive, complex, intense, slightly spicy, ripe, plum-black-cherry-cassis nose with some very bright, cedar-vanilla-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, harmonious, slightly spicy, intense, very attractive, ripe, plum-black-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, bright, gently cedary, mineral-tinged, fairly extracty finish. This extremely tasty totally new blend of 44% Sangiovese, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Merlot (37-31-32 for the previous 2017) has 15% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L21264 on the lower part of the glass bottle. The 2018 was last released on April 30, 2022 at $29.95. |

| TASTING NOTE: A ripe, opulent style, this red is saturated with black cherry, plum, cedar and spice flavors, yet remains fluid and lithe on the palate. Quickly gives way to tannins with the feel of bitter chocolate, with the fruit and floral notes enduring. Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best from 2024 through 2038. Smart Buys.
