ROSSO PININ 2019 DOC Langhe
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer BORGOGNO
NEW in Vintages, actually this ia blend of approximately 70% Dolcetto and 30% Freisa (not Barbera, Nebbiolo and Dolcetto). It has a fairly deep violet red colour and a spicy, bright, gently juicy nose focused on plums and cherries with a touch of sandalwood. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, bright, slightly spicy, tangy, fresh, plum-cherry fruit with a crispy, faintly earthy, sandalwood finish. Ready-to-drink now and perfect with informal tomato-based pasta dishes. It has 13.5% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L04822F on the back label. CSPC 26258

TASTING NOTE: Established in 1761, Borgogno is the most historical winery in Barolo and is still family owned. This wine is an elegant blend of Barbera, Nebbiolo and Dolcetto that spent two months harmonizing in Slavonian oak barrels. Expect plenty of vibrancy and verve, with structure and approachability in equal measure. Price $ 19.95
Bottle Size 750 mL
