SEE YA LATER RANCH |
NEW in Vintages, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc was aged in French and American oak. Deep intense purple colour. Very spicy, intense, cedary-oaky nose with lots of plummy-cassis fruit and some faintly smoky mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, intense, spicy, cedary-cassis flavours with a lingering, youthful, fairly grippy finish. Unfortunately, there are no details on winery website regarding the % varietals used or the time in barrel. It has 14.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with number 21321 on the lower part of the glass bottle. |

TASTING NOTE: Dark cocoa, perfumed florals wrap around a juicy core, harnessed by youthful gritty/grippy tannins. Lots of filling in this structual wine, though young still. Give this big red some time. [Tasted blind at the 2022 National Wine Awards of Canada, this wine was awarded an average score of 94 points by the judges.] Score - 92 (Treve Ring, winealign.com, 2022) |
