Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, complex,gently spicy, ripe, youthful, mullberry-cherry-plum nose with some minerally, licorice-tinged, toasty notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, firm, ripe, plum-cherry flavours with an intense, lingering, gently cedary, still youthful finish. Perfect with a strip steak au poivre. This 100% Malbec fom Cahors was aged for 12 months in concrete and French oak and has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L1027103 on the lower part of the glass bottle. The recommended 2017 was released on November 27, 2021 at $22.95. |
