Terre de Mistral Plan de Dieu Côtes du Rhône-Villages 2018 AP
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer Rémy Ferbras
Here is a very tasty, ready-to-drink, DdR Villages crowd-pleaser that offers terrific value. This unoaked blend of of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre shows lots ripeness. Fairly deep purple colour, the nose has bright, spicy, ripe, plum-cherry fruit with some strawberry-cassis purée notes. Dry, medium bodied and slightly spicy with bright, fresh, plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a crisp, lingering, very gently complex, sandalwood-tinged finish. It has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number LC220 on the upper part of the glass bottle just below the capsule.
