Sanavento Barbaresco 2019 DOCG
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer Enrico Serafino
This 100% Nebbiolo has a medium garnet red colour and a subtle, ableit attractive, ripe, plum nose with some hints of sandalwood, rose petals and ripe fraise de bois. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, very slightly spicy, lifted, bright, ripe, sandalwood-tinged, plum-red-cherry flavours with a lingering, elegant, well-textured finish. This tasty Barbaresco will keep but is actually showing very nicely now and has 14% alcohol and under 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L/JG27 on the back label. Aged for 20 months in oak casks (2500-4000 litres). CSPC 157347
