Cuvée III Red 2019 PGI Achaia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer MEGA SPILEO
NEW in Vintages. This creative blend of 40% Mavrodaphne, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Agiorgitiko has an extremely deep intense purple colour. It has an intense, fairly complex, cassis-plum-black-cherry nose with some some faintly peppery, cedar-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, still youthful, intense, plum-cherry-cassis fruit flavours with a fine mid-palate and a lingering, still somewhat grippy, crisp, red-pepper-tinged finish. Great in a large Riedel 001 glass and well suited for a rib steak. It has 13% alcohol and according to the LCBO 12 g/L residual sugar with lot number L22035 on the back label. Great value - it will improve with age. CSPC 25708
