Pinot Gris 2020 Rogue Valley, Willamette Valley |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
Del Rio Vineyard Estate |
NEW in Vintages. This pleasant Oregon Pinot Gris hails from the Willamette’s southern Rogue Valley. It has a light straw colour and a fairly spicy, honeyed, faintly leesy, floral nose with some some orange citrus notes. Dry, medium bodied, spicy, gently complex, very slightly earthy, maturing, apricot-citrus flavours with a lingering, slightly minerally finish. Totally ready to drink. It has 12.7% alcohol, 6 g/L residual sugar and a low 3.5 g/L total acidity with lot number 210513 on the back label and 22107 0200717 on the lower part of the glass bottle. It was 100% fermented in stainless steel tanks and 1% undergoing malolactic fermentation and then aged on its lees for eight months. |
