Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2016 DOCG
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer Biscardo
Very intense deep violet-garnet red colour. Intense, complex, extremely ripe, plummy, candied cherry nose with some faintly smoky, chestnut creme, maple syrup notes. Off dry, medium-full bodied, rich, leathery, intense, bright, black-cherry-tinged, Damson plum jam flavours with a lingering, complex, almost Porty finish. This old school traditional blend of dried Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella grapes has 15.5% alcohol and 9 g/L residual sugar with lot number L22085 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Great with robust stews, tomato-based dishes and cheese. CSPC 14002
