MERLOT 2018 California
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer MURPHY-GOODE
This cedary, ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser is going to make a lot of folks happy. It’s really more like a tasty burger red than something that you might save for that special occasion. It has a fairly deep ruby purple colour and a spicy, ripe, plum-blackberry-cherry nose with lots of cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, bright, spicy, ripe plum-black-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedary finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number 20210415 on the back label and a screwcap closure. CSPC 59295
