SHIRAZ 2019 McLaren Vale, South Australia
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer COLAB AND BLOOM
Here is a crowd-pleasing, ready-to-drink, well-balanced Shiraz is hard not to like. The label says “blackberry pie, sweet spice and milk chocolate” which are not on my red wine hit list. Deep purple red in colour with a juicy, ripe raspberry-cherry nose. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, gently tangy, ripe, plummy-black-cherrry flavours with a lingering, fairly crisp, finish. I check the LoonieWine Co.website but no Shiraz could be found. This has 14.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L210906 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure.
